The R&B/pop vocal stylings of Sarah Lamb, mixed with pop/rock rhythms and the piano driven accompaniment, makes this music fun to listen and move to. The lyrics fit the music well, being real to life, clean, and true to the artist and her life in Christ.

I was in grade school when I first became interested in music. I enjoyed being a part of our Christian school musicals every year and was in only third grade when I was chosen for the role of Maria in “The Sound of Music.” I continued singing and dancing through middle and high school in choir and show choir. My senior year of high school I had the privilege of singing a duet with Esther Heideman of the Metropolitan Opera, while she was in my home town for our high school concert.

All of these experiences led me to pursue a degree in Contemporary Christian Music at Cornerstone University. While in college I had the joy of traveling to Italy on tour with the Cornerstone Choral, singing in the Evensong worship team, and playing a lead role in Calvary Church’s Festival of Lights.

I was selected as a scholarship winner to attend the 2008 GMA music week in Nashville, at which I attended many useful seminars and met many current Christian music artists. Since graduating in May of 2008, I have performed with George Moss as a guest pianist as well as performing some of my original music at the Wine and Harvest Festival. I was selected as the winner of Northpointe Idol and won studio time to record some of my own work. I recently recorded background vocals with rapper Vaughn Hughe.

Having received a minor in Spanish and having had opportunities to lead worship services in Spanish, I hope to incorporate it into my music. My influences outside of that come from Whitney Houston on Preacher's Wife to Alicia Keys, Barlow Girl, Shane and Shane, Gavin DeGraw, Christina Aguilera, Jimmy Needham, and many others. My own style has been influenced by R&B, pop, rock, jazz and Contemporary Christian music.

Writing my own songs gives me a chance to put my love for music and my training together to create authentic music for the glory of God.
