“Being chosen to perform for such an iconic international company is one of the highlights of my professional career as a musician,” says Marks. “My musical direction for this performance is reminiscent of late ‘60s ‘Beatles meets The Byrds.' After performing on six continents during the last 25 years, I feel like UPS and I have a lot in common.”
The Holiday animation was produced by UPS Video Producers James Rowe and Teri Lamprey, who spearheaded all phases of the production from UPS’ Atlanta-based headquarters. “We wanted a special arrangement and vocal performer who could bring excitement and a vitality to our lyrics and animation, connecting with the wide spectrum of our global demographic,” said Rowe. “Kenny delivered multiple versions, giving us the pleasure of many musical choices for our animation.”
One of Christian music’s leading male vocalists in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, Marks’ signature songs include “The Party’s Over,” “I’ll Be A Friend To You,” “Right Where You Are,” and the multi-format hit “Make It Right.” A multiple Dove Award nominee and forerunner in music video, Marks’ “Turn Your World Around” was one of the first videos filmed in the former Soviet Union’s Red Square. Marks is currently represented by Atlanta-based Houghton Talent (www.houghtontalent.com). For concert bookings, call 615-714-3900.
