he sold-out event will give fans a look inside Dekker’s world as a storyteller.  The day will also serve as a celebration the bestselling favorite Circle Series.  Green, Book Zero (the beginning and the end) in the series, is under lock and key until it goes on sale September 1, 2009.  Fans present will receive a special sneak peak of the first chapters. The 3rd annual Gathering is a one day event where fiction fans experience firsthand the worlds of Ted Dekker’s Circle Trilogy series (Black, Red, and White). Part conference, part multi-media event, The Gathering fuses contemporary dance, drama, and explosive storytelling.

In Ted’s best-selling Circle Series (Black, Red, White, and Green) the Gathering was an annual event when all the tribes crossed the desert and met as one with Thomas of Hunter as an expression of solidarity and to celebrate their heritage in song, dance and story.
In 2007, 40 fans of the book series gathered in Nashville in a similar manner. The following year 240 came.

In 2009, the venue has been expanded and, for the first time, the full event will be produced. Over 500 will gather in a one day extravaganza which will relive the history of the books through professional interpretive dance, music drama, storytelling, and illusion all in a setting that will take us back to the colored forest.

**Diverse array of entertainment includes performances by the StillPoint Dance Theatre, who have choreographed a modern dance interpretation of the Circle Series core themes: the fall, redemption, and recreation of mankind. In addition, professional storytellers will be telling the tales and Ted will hold two open mic Q&A sessions with his fans. Fans will also have the opportunity to tell their own Ted stories through the "show and tell" time coordinated through a pre-event screening. A book signing will conclude the evening.
